IN THEIR OWN WORDS…

I was raised in Boston, but originally from Israel. I lived in Australia for some time before moving to sunny San Diego in 2016. I always knew I had a passion for organizing events. Although I started slowly, I began my professional career in events as an unpaid intern for a local San Diego wedding planner. Over time I picked up jobs as a hostess and server where I learned the different sides of hospitality. Eventually I found my way to MIHO and that’s where the magic really started to happen. Now I am no longer just an intern, but a coordinator myself and I couldn't be prouder of my growth and the team that I get to work with every day!

FAVORITE MEMORY IN THE KITCHEN:

Growing up my family would gather for dinner every Friday night and we would always have the same meal - Israeli salad, mashed potatoes, and my personal favorite, schnitzel. My dad enlisted my brother and I to help him prepare the food. When I was young and too short to reach the counter, I would stand on a chair next to my dad, flipping the chicken between breadcrumbs and eggs. Having this weekly tradition and being able to help create a delicious meal was so meaningful for my entire family.

WHAT’S ON YOUR BOOKSHELF…

Unreasonable Hospitality, Grit, Ishmael, The Feminine Mystique & a bunch of other feminist novels.

A PERFECT SUNDAY…

Snuggling in bed with Dino, our Frenchie. Lounging in the sun with a mimosa (with just a drop of OJ) or hanging at Kate Sessions Park people watching or painting.

RAPID FIRE

Last Thing You Ate: My favorite breakfast - avocado smash on toast with a little bit of lemon pepper, so good!

Favorite Restaurant in SD: Juniper & Ivy

Wedding trend you’re into: Jumping into the pool.

On repeat: The Stones & Yung Bae

Happy Hour Order: a classic French 75!!

Favorite event: The MIHO Event! Throwing a party in the bowl of a skate park was so rad.
