I took a plunge to switch my career from marketing to accounting and finance six years ago. I started entry level in the restaurant and hospitality industry, ventured into the medical field, and found my way back in the industry. Throughout each role, I feel proud to be reliable on good and bad days.

WHERE DO YOU FIND INSPIRATION?

Being born from Hong Kong, I'm constantly influence by Eastern and Western inspired fusion cuisines. One such food is baked rice, which usually contain a type of grilled meat, fried rice, cooked in a bolognese sauce, topped with cheese, baked and served. Nowadays, I'm open to explore other cuisines the rest of the world has to offer.

FAVORITE MEMORY IN THE KITCHEN?

I enjoy reinvigorating leftover food, sometimes into something entirely different!

HAPPY HOUR SNACK: Bourbon + fries.

FAVORITE EVENT: Weddings. Full of promise and new beginnings.

LAST THING YOU ATE: Karaage chicken bowl with miso soup from Yokohama Yakitori Koubou.
