HOSPITALITY CODE

PLEASURE, NOT PAIN
It feels great to make others feel good. I genuinely engage with people and strive to create authentic connections while providing the highest level of service. Caring for others is not a chore but something that makes me feel accomplished and fulfilled.

UNCONDITIONAL HOSPITALITY
I provide the very best service regardless of how challenging the circumstances are or the mood of my guests, teammates, and myself. I treat everyone with respect and importance regardless of their role or stature. This is an attitude and mindset rather than a skill.

PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT
Preparation is the key to success. I have a deep knowledge of food, beverage, service, design, and culture - and I always seek ways to deepen that knowledge. I am an expert in our systems, procedures, and standards. I practice the art of human interaction to create enjoyable and meaningful connections.

BE A LEGEND
I always seek opportunities to go above and beyond in pursuit of making a positive and lasting impression. I want my hospitality to be remarkable and remembered forever.

Hear it from the HOMIs…

What’s different about working for MIHO compared to another firm?

From menu development to employment, we are always looking for ways to grow and be better. This growth mindset starts with leadership and trickles all the way down to how events are executed. It’s challenging but incredibly enriching.
-Lindsey Chronert, Brand Manager

Where do you see the company in 3-5 years?

I see MIHO as a small, creative, and passionate team that wakes up every day with the possibility of creating life's most unforgettable and inspirational experiences. And we're having a lot of fun doing it.
-Kevin Ho, CEO

What are the opportunities for growth at MIHO?

If you have a growth mindset, a passion for food, drink, and events, and a strong work ethic, you’ll be welcomed into the family. We will do our best to make you exceptional in your craft through coaching, training, and education.
-Jessica Rauch, General Manager

What does diversity and inclusion mean for you and the company?

Everyone who works here puts power into our core purpose and their contributions are what create our work environment. For me, D&I is about looking beyond what's on paper and really understanding someone at a human level. What has shaped this person through personal experiences, cultural events, travel, and outlook on life? And how can this person enrich our culture or bring a characteristic that we can learn from? That's who we want here day-to-day!
-Juan Mirón, Co-Founder + CPO

What is the company and team culture like?

Our team is made up of all sorts of people who come from all walks of life and have different interests, beliefs, and perspectives. That said, everyone unites on one common trait: a sense of duty and care to deliver the best experience. We ask each other the right questions, fill in gaps where it’s lacking, and go the extra mile to take care of each other. At the end of the day, no matter the role one plays, we all know how it feels to have a good experience and strive to give the same whether it is a corporate event or the most important day in a person’s life.
